CM-SO - Airport Wildlife Control for Civilian Airport Safety Officers.

 This includes all participant materials, pre and posts activities, assessments and workshop refreshments. Participants will be responsible for their own lunch.

Intended Audience: Personnel with a working knowledge of the aviation industry and wildlife strikes recommended.

Description: The Airport Wildlife Control for Civilian Airport Safety Officers course is a comprehensive 1-day course that meets or exceeds Transport Canada CAR 302 and Airport Standards 322.

Objectives: The purpose of this course is to comply with federal regulations concerning the training of persons responsible for civilian airport safety with regards to airport wildlife management in order to reduce the number and severity of wildlife strikes at Canadian and International airports.

  • Passive control: habitat management
  • Active control: removal, dispersal, exclusion

Certificate: All participants will receive a professional looking certificate upon completion of the workshop.

Course duration: 1 day

Course hours: 8 hours per day, the course will involve classroom lectures and discussions.

Class size: A minimum of 6 participants and a maximum of 10.
Fee: Payment must be made when registering for courses. We reserve the right to cancel seven days prior to any course in which the minimum registration is not achieved.
